Hermanus is situated about one and half hours by road from Cape Town and offers the best land based whale watching in the world.

Every July – December, the Southern right Whales come here from the Antarctica to calf.

On a day tour we take a leisurely scenic drive around the coast through Betty’s bay. Spend the day watching the whales and exploring the town, which is known for their boutique shops and craft market.

A wonderful option is to take a boat trip out to visit the whales – this provides an exciting opportunity to see the whales close by. In high season, booking is recommended.
