Baia

One of the best seafood restaurants in Cape Town, situated on the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront. Ask for a table outside on the deck, the food and the views match perfectly together.

Belthazar

If you are looking for good steak (their seafood is also great though) and a restaurant which boasts the largest quality wine by the glass list, you have come to the right place.

Caveau

A wonderful wine bar and delicatessen – menu is on a black board as it changes daily according to what they have freshly available. Offers a small selection of starters, main courses and deserts with a selection of tapas for those with a light appetite.

Great ambience and frequented mainly by Capetonians. So if you want to eat where the locals are, this is definitely the place to come.

Five Flies

Great dining venue in this heritage building with excellent food to match. Try to book a table in one of the separate dining rooms. Great romantic venue.

Ginja

Considered to be one of the top restaurants in Cape Town and in high season can be difficult to get a reservation. You may get a booking at their sister restaurant Shoga which is situated upstairs and has the same kitchen. Great romantic venue!

Owner/Chef, George Jardine has had a huge amount of success in a short space of time. Recently won an award for the Top 10 restaurants 2007 by Eat Out magazine.

La Colomb

Situated on the Wine farm Constantia Uitsig about 25 minutes drive from Cape Town. Chosen as one of the top 50 restaurants in the world, by UK Restaurant magazine. Many will confirm that La Colombe is well worth the taxi ride.
